ABOUT ME

I come from humble beginnings and I’m proud of it.  It’s instilled in me many of my values and certainly my work ethic. 

I grew up on a cattle station south east of Hughenden and attended boarding school in Charters Towers from Year 8 to Year 12.  I then lived, worked & studied in Townsville.  After graduating from university I worked in public accounting in Townsville before living in London for 3 years travelling all over the UK, Europe and Northern Africa with my trusty backpack and working for some household names whilst I did it.  I lived in Brisbane for a further 2 years before the pull of family, Townsville & the broader region had me back in 2005.  I love Townsville and see tremendous growth and potential in the entire region.

Over the past 20+ years I’ve worked in a variety of businesses supporting their financial needs.  Each business, no matter how small or large, has required the same thing – clear and concise financial data in order to make decisions to support the strategic direction of their business.  In some cases the small businesses are more fortunate than the large as they have autonomy where the large businesses have large overheads and are confined in their scope of influence.

With this combination of skills, background & values I have proven myself time and again to add great value to the bottom-line of all those I support and I look forward to adding value to your business.
